Meghan Trainor thinks it’s “Nice To Meet Ya” with her latest release featuring none other than Nicki Minaj. Minaj brings that fire for a flexing feature on the Treat Myself album and takes her track to the next universe.
In September, Minaj declared that she was retiring from music and starting a family as the ultimate reason. The next month, she clarified her statement: “The retirement was talking about my album, meaning do I want to go back and record my fifth album.”
Although she hasn’t completely stopped releasing music, Minaj has taken a bit of a break. The only music she’s dropped since then has been the song “Bad to You,” which was on the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack, and the song and accompanying video for “Tusa” with Karol G. So you can only imagine how excited ‘barbies’ were to hear the feature surprise.
Trainor’s album also boasts features from the Pussycat Dolls, Lennon Stella, Sasha Sloan, and AJ Mitchell.
