Deadline reports that Universal has given the green light to create Monster Mash, which is based on the playful Halloween-themed song by Bobby “Boris” Pickett (1962). Down he timeline, “Monster Mash” reached #1 on The Billboard Hot 100 chart before Halloween. Since then, the well-known song was dubbed as a spooky season classic.
