There has been no shortage of superhero movies with streaming platforms such as Disney+ releasing new content on a weekly basis. Netflix has added to this multitude with their newest action-comedy Thunder Force. That’s right, an action-comedy, ensuring this superhero movie is unlike any you’ve ever seen before! Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy play unlikely ‘ordinary women’ superheroes!
Thunder Force follows Lydia Berman (McCarthy) as she visits her longtime friend Emily Stannon (Spencer) at work. Upon waiting for Emily, Lydia gets her hands on the “only formula for super-strength,” and thus, the story begins! Emily takes the formula, granting her the power of invisibility, and joins her friend in a crime-fighting rampage to save their city.
