If you grew up between the time periods of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Huger Games, and Game of Thrones, then you most likely have a colossal appetite for the fantasy genre.
One series that truly remains supreme from 2005 until today is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. So, when Netflix announced in October 2018 that they had purchased the rights to the books and movies, fans were brimming with excitement. But since then, not much has been heard about the new Narnia material — until recently, that is. Twitter lit up with excitement when fake posters were spread around for the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia series, leading fans to believe Netflix was releasing it soon.
Although there are no promising updates, there is no doubt that The Chronicles of Narnia series will be arriving soon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix is believed to have spent a nine-figure sum to acquire the rights to the books. Furthermore, Coco co-writer Matthew Aldrich was announced as creative architect on all Narnia projects last year.
