Netflix’s adaption of the highly acclaimed manga series Parasyte, has gotten an official release date. According to a poster released by the streaming platform, the Parasyte rendition will premiere on April 5. The show is directed by Yeon Sang-ho. Meanwhile, the Japanese manga is written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
“In the series, as unidentified parasitic life-forms that live off human hosts strive to grow their power and start to disrupt society, a group of humans wage war against the rising evil,” the synopsis states.
Parasyte: The Grey stars Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim In-kwon, Jeon So-nee, and more. The newest show is a co-production by Climax Studios and WOW Point.
