Time and time again, Jared Leto has proven his talents on the silver screen. From cult classics like 2000’s Requiem for a Dream to more recent efforts such as 2016’s Suicide Squad, Leto has proven his capabilities over and over again no matter the role that is presented to him. His diversity as a successful musician and actor serves as a testament to both his talent and work ethic, showcasing his ability and desire to do everything he can with his time in Hollywood. His latest project is a prime example of that, with the latest poster for his next project Morbius showcasing the multitalented Leto in menacingly promising fashion.
Set to be the next installment in Marvel’s seemingly never ending treasure trove of projects, Morbius is set to be the next chapter in Sony’s Spider-Man universe as well as being interconnected with Tom Hardy’s Venom storyline. In the film, Leto is set to star as the titular anti-hero who begins as a doctor but, through a series of events, becomes a blood-thirsty vampire who must battle against his evil urges. Morbius seems like the ultimate moral struggle, and it appears that Leto is more than up for the challenge. The latest poster for the project, seen below, showcases both sides of Leto’s character and highlights the dichotomy that he will be faced with as the star of Morbius incredibly well. Eager fans can anticipate the premiere of Morbius in theaters early next year on January 28th, 2022.
The Spider-Man franchise is as storied as any other, and virtually any spin-off is poised for success. Morbius certainly seems intriguing, and having a face with Leto at its helm it should make it worth the watch at the very least. We will just have to find out for ourselves when Morbius debuts in theaters next January.
