Netflix officially dropped a brand new clip of Kris Pearn’s forthcoming animated film adaptation of The Willoughbys. In the snippet, we’re introduced to Terry Crew‘s Commander Melanoff and Maya Rudolph‘s Nanny. As the video progresses, the two set out to save a baby from a candy crusher machine.
The Willoughbys is based on the acclaimed book by Newberry Award-winning author Lois Lowry. The film will also star Grammy nominee Alessia Cara as Jane, Will Forte as Tim, Vincent Tong as the Barnabys, Ricky Gervais as Cat, Martin Short as Father, and Jane Krakowski as Mother.
The Willoughbys will premiere on April 22nd, 2020. Watch the clip below:
