It’s no news Disney is bringing all the cartoon classics to live-Action. Could we have possibly thought 1973’s RobinHood would miss the magic?
Keeping it’s animal theme Robin Hood the Fox, and his companions a rooster, bear and King Lion will come to life for Disney’s streaming service Disney+. The expectation is that this film will compliment Disney’s titles Jungle Book and Dumbo and not reap the same feedback as the most recent animal to live-action title CATS. Production will consist of a mixture between live-action and computer animation.
According to Variety, Carlos Lopez Estrada will be directing the film and Kari Granlunds who wrote Lady And The Tramp scripts is also on this project with Justin Springer’s producing.
When exactly the film will begin production and prediction for release remains TBA.
