Nickelodeon is getting real nostalgic these days.
First, the network rebooted ‘All That,’ a comedy sketch series that captivated kids attention from the late 90s into the early 2000s. The show is set to premiere June 15th.
Additionally, Nick recently announced another classic series, ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ will also be joining the network for a limited time only. “The new Midnight Society will tell the tale of the Carnival of Doom, but the events of the story end up coming to life.” Vulture reports.
In order to rebrand the classic series for the newer generation, the network has selected to cast all new members for The Midnight Society.
According to Coming Soon, “Sam Ashe Arnold (Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.), Tamara Smart (Artemis Fowl), Jeremy Taylor (It), Miya Cech (Rim of the World), and Lyliana Wray (Black-ish) will star as the new cast members for the limited series.
The three-part hour long mini series is will be penned by BenDavid Grabinski and directed by Dean Israelite. The series is set to hit the little screen in October and will coincide with ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark’ movie scheduled to premiere the same month.
