Tupac Shakur was undoubtedly a hip-hop icon in his own right.
When you think about it, the former emcee paved the way for rappers to express themselves freely through song. His lyrics also instilled knowledge and wisdom, pushing others to open their third eye. Given this, we all can concur that Tupac’s legacy will live on for a lifetime.
One musician who shows their admiration for Tupac is NLE Choppa. Although he’s in the Generation X bracket, the “Walk Em Down” rapper is very fond of the golden era of hip-hop, more specifically Tupac’s discography. He’s even sampled some of the late emcee’s top singles on songs like “Picture Me Grapin.” Recently, NLE Choppa showed his appreciation for the well-esteemed artist by reenacting some shoots that he did previously.
“Death Is Not The Greatest Loss In Life. The Greatest Loss Is What Dies Inside While Alive. Never Surrender,” wrote NLE Choppa, quoting Tupac in his caption. “Hoping Love Approaches Now And Not When When The Person Dies.”
In the photo collection, you’ll get a glimpse of the “Top Shotta Flow” rapper wearing Karl Kani-designed “Thug Life” overalls, a purple hoodie, a black-and-white striped beanie, and a chain hanging out of his top.
