Soul is beautifully animated with a gorgeous musical score. Pixar has done it again. Soul It is unapologetically Black with an accurate portrayal of Jazz. It even showcases the versatility of Black male hairstyles with a barbershop scene.
While the ending involves Joe’s opportunity to return to his previous endeavors, he is asked “How are you going to spend your life?” He responds, “I’m not sure. But I do know, I’m going to live every minute of it.” Stream Soul on Disney+.
