Regal Cinemas reopening plan requires employees and movie goers to wear their masks upon entering the theaters. The goal is to maintain the safety precautions that’ve been demanded since the COVID-19 outbreak with effective cohesion.
The reopening of cinemas has been long awaited since the pandemic began. Slowly but surely the world is coming back to business. With all states taking steps in phases, Regals are one of the last to finally open for service.
Regal representative explains the new protocol as an enhancement to the previous policy on the wearing of masks.
“Our current mask policy requires both employees and guests to wear masks at all Regal theaters… Our ultimate goal is to create a safe environment for our guests and employees. This is a change to our previous policy on masks based on feedback received from our customers.”
Regal will provide masks to customers and employees when needed and hand sanitizer dispersers are being installed in all locations. Other precautions include reducing theater capacity, spacing between rows, individual seats and contactless payments. All employees will be required to wear face masks, wash their hands every 30 to 60 minutes and take part in daily health screenings.
Regal Theaters plan to open in several locations July 10th.
Happy & Safe movie watching to you all!
