Yesterday (Oct 7th), Rihanna unveiled that she will be releasing her first visual book titled Rihanna on October 24th.
Published by Phaidon, the book will have 504 pages and more than 1,000 photos. In a statement about Rihanna, the female mogul says:
“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images. I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody.”
In accordance with Rihanna, she’ll also release three limited editions of the book: the Fenty x Phaidon edition This Shit Is Heavy, the Luxury Supreme edition, and the Ultra Luxury Supreme edition.
This Shit is Heavy is set to drop on October 10th while the Luxury Supreme edition is set to release on Nov. 20.
There was also be a pre-release book party at the Guggenheim Museum in New York on Oct. 1st.
To keep fans on the edge of their seats, Rihanna will also show them a rough draft of her past album, Anti’s tracklist.
Moving forward, Rihanna plans on finishing her upcoming album, R9. According to Complex, “…this update came last month when Rihanna was asked about the possibility of being a part of the next Super Bowl halftime show, to which Rihanna joked that the lack of an album would result in an instance in which fans “are gonna have my neck.”
