Disregarding the cries of her fans, Rihanna has not released an album in three years and many don’t want to accept the reasons why. In her most recent cover story with Interview Magazine, she converses with former co-star Sarah Paulson, explaining her musical hiatus.

Juggling between fashion, lingerie, beauty and music, Rihanna admits that her hectic work schedule is like a carousel and doesn’t allow her to maintain a regular sleep pattern. In order to cope with this and still maintain her businesses she allows herself to take personal days to rest up and do things that make her happy. While a fun and creative new album is definitely under the works, she refuses to rush the process.
