Maat Reeves is taking on the Batman project, breaking off from the DCEU usual and taking it back to Bruce Wayne’s roots for the pursuit of justice. Robert Pattinson was rumored to be the Star Back In May, And now the Info is has been officially confirmed. Robert Patterson is casted as The Batman.
The Twilight actor gave voice to his excitement during an interview with Variety. Recognizing the role he’s been slotted for is quite a big deal! Many excelling actors have slide on the iconic mask and now Pattinson is amongst that list. He describes the satisfaction he felt when reality of his role casting sunk in, including the humor that came with the surrealities.
You do feel very powerful immediately. And it’s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating. You’ve got five people trying to shove you into something. Once you’ve got it on, it’s like, ‘Yeah, I feel strong,’ I feel tough, even though I had to have someone squeezing my butt cheeks into the legs.”
I mean, that really is a DREAM! Who else remembers throwing on a black cape, deepening their voice as a kid to impersonate Batman!
