Roddy Ricch hinted at releasing a new album on his Instagram, saying that he’ll drop it under a “no skip policy.” His second studio album comes right after his 2019 LP Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.
Over a black backdrop, the melodic rapper penned, “For us to drop the album, we gotta have a NO skip policy.”
A month ago, Ricch told fans in a cryptic message that the newest album would be titled LIVE LIFE FA$T. But it seems like he’s changed his mind on the name. Instead, fans are now saying the project might be called Love Is Barely Real Anymore.
He gave a bit more information about his LP in March. During an interview with Complex, Ricch said
“Coming off one of the biggest albums I could’ve done, I feel like taking them back to the basics with me,” he said at the time. “There’s all the old fans I had when I first started rapping and these new fans that I got since the big album and Grammys and everything. So, I want to bridge the gap between my old fans and my new fans. That’s what I’m on a mission to do with this next situation that I’m working on.”
