She-Hulk’s writer, Dana Schwartz, announced on Twitter that she’s done writing the script for Disney +’s widely-anticipated Marvel series. Given this news, Marvel Studios is on the hunt for an “Alison Brie-type” actress to portray the role of Jennifer Walters. But due to the COVID-19, production might not begin right away as other upcoming Marvel projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been put on hold as well.
She-Hulk was officially announced sometime last year by Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige. It hit bookshelves in Marvel Comics’ “Savage She-Hulk” #1 (1980). The comic was created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. She-Hulk’s alter ego is Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner/Hulk, who, after being shot, is provided a blood transfusion from Bruce that turns her into a similar green monster. She later became a member of the Avengers and briefly replaced Ben Grimm in The Fantastic Four.
