Variety unveils that Sony Pictures Television is creating a Silk live-action Marvel series with Good Trouble and Atypical writer Lauren Moon.
Silk, whose real name is Cindy Moon, is a classmate of Peter Parker’s. She was first introduced in the comic book series The Amazing Spider-Man in 2014. Like Parker, she is bitten by a dangerous spider who ends up giving her the ability to move fast, shoot webs out of her fingertips, and have an advanced Spider-Sense known as Silk Sense.
The character, who was played by Tiffany Espensen, previously appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War. Casting for the television role has not yet been announced. Sony Pictures Television will produce.
