Skip Waiters starts 2023 with his 3rd and final single, “Bully” on Friday, January 20th, from his upcoming debut commercial album, “Streams of Consciousness,” due for release on March 3rd, 2023. The Toronto Based Alternative Hip-Hop artist presents a telling story, a dialogue between Skip and his conscious.
Skip Waiters invites listeners to an internal dialogue paired with a smooth melodic production in “Bully”. A single that highlights Skip’s impeccable storytelling and creative depth while sharing personal pain that uncovers universal truths inclusively for all listeners to relate to. The single is paired with a visual that brings to life the internal dialogue Skip has as he watches the demise of another and his position as a bystander.
The single, “Bully” transports listeners back to Junior High to a narrative of Skip having an internal conflict with himself, illustrating his thought processes and contemplation to be a bystander during a conflict and the process of his eventual redemption and vengeance.
“Bully is a story about me and my brother. It’s an internal dialogue you have with yourself, debating whether or not you should aid somebody that’s in distress when they are the reason for their own calamity.”
