The trailer for Strange Darling teases the twisted killer horror film helmed by writer-director JT Mollner. The movie is led by Scream stars Kyle Gallner and Willa Fitzgerald. Although they’ve worked under the same umbrella, Galler had a role in the 2022 movie Scream while Fitzgerald acted in Scream: The TV Series.
Gallner is typically the ideal guy to play an antagonist, which is potentially due to his appearance in A Nightmare on Elm Street.
As highlighted in the trailer, the plot thickens in Strange Darling as an intended one-night stand turns into a twisted serial killer realm. Fitzgerald’s character finds herself being tracked down by a killer she experienced a short fling with. Collider reports that the movie is “nothing is what it seems” as the actress’s character attempts to break free from him. The movie is co-produced between Miramax and Spooky Picture Productions.
