The third season of the show is expected to be released on the Fourth of July.
The main characters are present on the poster; Eleven is wearing a scrunchie in front with the primary setting of this season, Starcourt Mall. The mall will be an important part to the plot of this season; it will also be the location of Steve and new character, Robin’s job at an ice parlor called Scoops Ahoy.
It seems that everyone except Eleven has a shocked or startled look on their face; as if there’s impending danger with the new creature featuring at the bottom of the poster. Next to the creature is Billy Hargove, who appears to be in the Upside Down. The trailer gave no explanation on how he effects it, so we’ll have to wait until the season drops to find out.
