Not fit for the role? Ugh. AS IF!
Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington talk about auditioning and not being casted for Clueless – the iconic 1995 romance comedy starring Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy and other star studded actors and actresses.
Imagine that? Reese Witherspoon as the ditzy, glitzy, rich Cher and Kerry Washington as the ditzier Dionne. The two very successful actresses share laughs and say they both “auditioned so hard” for that film.
Witherspoon, Washington and other cast members from ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ sat with Buzzfeed to discuss their “First Times”. Starting with the first time they saw each other.
By the second question Reese admits:
“You know one thing that is public…is I auditioned SO HARD for Clueless and I didn’t get it,”
“I did too!” Kerry reveals
“That would’ve been a different… we should do, like, a remake…”
Seeing these two gals joke and giggle together makes me think a remake wouldn’t be a bad idea at all. I’m totally seeing the cute Clueless chemistry.
