DC Comics plans on releasing a three-issue comic series that’ll serve as a prelude to a new movie for The Flash. The first issue, called, The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, drops on April 26, 2022. The other two issues will release monthly. The prelude is written by Kenny Porter. Ricardo López Ortiz is in charge of the art.
The cover for the first issue is constructed by Max Fiumara. The second one will carry art by Juan Ferreyra, and Jason Howard will have his art in the final issue.
The Flash movie will bring back Ezra Miller as The Flash/Barry Allen, who he first played in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. He also played The Flash in a cameo appearance on The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths, where he met Grant Gustin‘s version of Barry Allen.
The film premieres on November 4, 2022.
