Peacock has decided to take on a reboot of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air after the series celebrated its 30th anniversary. The show was essentially popular in the ’90s.
Sometime yesterday, Will Smith, the lead star in The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, unveiled who will be taking on the role as the Fresh Prince via Instagram. The actor’s name is Jabari Banks, and he received a warm welcome from Smith in a video post.
“From the deepest parts of my heart, I wanna say congratulations to you. You have the role of Will on Bel -Air,” Smith told Banks.
The revamp already has two seasons in order by Peacock. The series is produced by Universal and Westbrook Studios, which is a part of Will and Jada’s Westbrook Inc.
