SPOILER ALERT: If you have yet to see Avengers: Endgame, this is your warning to stop scrolling.
When tickets went on sale for Avengers: Endgame, it sold out and put up record breaking numbers for it’s opening weekend. Following the despair of a conclusion to Avengers: Infinity War, the fourth installment of the franchise gives us an update of what life would be like without half of the Earth’s population. It’s clear that the superheroes cannot come to terms with the loss they have just endured and are doing everything in their power to fix it. Zoe Saldana sat down with Variety recently and expressed her enthusiasm and wishes the film even more success after surpassing the billion dollar mark, hoping it will go down in history as the number one highest grossing film of all time.
“If it does, I’m so much of a geek that I would want to see if I can get into ‘The Guiness Book of World Records.’ Because if I broke a record, that would be my shot.”
Saldana also has chosen to break her rule regarding “no phone Fridays,” displaying her pride in her role, Gamora.
“It was really beautiful to be reminded that I was a part of something just that big – again.”
Avengers: Infinity War is currently sitting at the number 4 spot, The Avengers at number 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron at number 8 and Avengers: Endgame at number 10.
