Summer Walker is bringing us the vibes we need for the rest of the season. Via social media she announced the release date for her forthcoming EP Life On Earth. “Dropping my new EP Life On Earth July 10. Pre-save now,” the “Session 32” singer tweeted. She accompanied the tweet with the album’s artwork, which shows off Walker’s silhouette as she stands atop her Mercedes G-Wagon.
The upcoming project serves as a follow-up to her debut album Over It, which was released in October 2019. The 18-track LP featured appearances from 6LACK, Bryson Tiller, Usher, PartyNextDoor, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Jhené Aiko and Drake. The project housed some of her biggest hits including songs “Girls Need Love,” “Come Thru,” “Playing Games,” “I’ll Kill you” and “Stretch You Out.”
Earlier this year in, the album officially became certified platinum by the RIAA. Walker took to Instagram to celebrate the news. “PLATINUM,” she wrote. “Thanks so much guys. This is how my life goes lol every time I take a L I get a W.”
While there are no further details about the EP, nor a lead single, we are eager to stream it in its entirety on July 10th, stay tuned!
