The Billboard’s team had a slight hiccup yesterday while DaBaby was getting his award.
While the “BOP” rapper went up to receive his honor for Top Rap Song, they accidentally played Post Malone’s “Rockstar” instead of his song, which carries the same name. DaBaby’s “Rockstar” also took home the prize for Top Streaming Song. This mixup is understandable, however, due to the name commonality. Likewise, both tracks have earned serious recognition.
Seemingly unbothered by the mishap, DaBaby went up to the podium and started with, “It’s me, It’s me, I’ll live with that.” Then, he began his acceptance speech.
Of course, Twitter had to poke fun at the mistake, causing the moment to go viral.
