Now Netflix have secured another legendary comedian to record their next special with David Spade set to release his first Netflix special in a few short weeks.
Kicking off his Hollywood career in 1987, David Spade can be considered one of the founding fathers of modern comedy. Spade came up alongside the likes of the aforementioned Adam Sandler and carved out an incredibly successful lane for himself in the process, earning himself 79 acting credits to date in the process. Now the esteemed comedian is ready to return to his roots with Netflix announcing that his new stand-up special Nothing Personal will debut on the streaming platform next month, and fans should be in for a treat. In the official synopsis for the special, Netflix notes that Spade is ready to deliver a performance that his fans have become accustomed to in which he touches on topics from “his disdain for crabs to his unique approach to turning down drugs,” adding that “David proves that no topic is off-limits.” Nothing Personal was filmed at the Pantages Theater in Minneapolis and is set to premiere on Netflix in a few short weeks on April 26th.
