Emma Roberts Leads Horror Thriller Film ‘Abandoned’

The Emma Robert-led horror film, Abandoned has an official trailer! The movie will hit theaters worldwide on June 17, 2022.

The storyline centers on a couple looking to start fresh with their newborn baby. Their efforts lead them to a remote farmhouse. But unfortunately, this home holds many dark secrets. Some that the duo was unaware of. Eventually, these odd occurrences affect Roberts in the worst way. 

Abandoned is based on a screenplay written by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott. Spencer Squire is set to direct the movie. 

The synopsis reads:

“The film follows the sharply intense lives of Sara, her husband Alex, and their infant son as they move into a remote farmhouse, which harbors a dark, tragic history. 

As their home’s past is revealed, the mother’s fragility escalates to a state of psychosis that jeopardizes her own safety and that of her newborn son.”
