Grown-ish star Yara Shahidi has seemingly followed the steps of her fictional character. As of yesterday, sources reported that Shahidi graduated from Harvard University. The actress enrolled in the prestigious college back in 2017. But, since she took a gap year, the Black-ish cast member graduated this year. Her recommendation letter was actually penned by Michelle Obama as well.
Per Vogue Magazine, Yara took several social studies and African American classes. Additionally, she concentrated on black political thought under a neocolonial landscape.
She updated fans about her last assignment on Twitter on May 20th.
She wrote, “Quick life update… I am currently writing the last paper of my college career.”
Once Friday came, Yara announced that she was an official grad.
