Disney’s Live-Action ‘Snow White’ Movie Gets Release Date

Disney’s live-action movie, Snow White, will officially premiere on March 22, 2024. During an announcement, Disney dropped the news about other films and Snow White‘s arrival. 

Rachel Zegler will play Snow White. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot will star as the Evil Queen. Andrew Burnap will play the role of Jonathan, and Martin Klebba will play Grumpy. The upcoming movie is based on Disney’s animation film that debuted over 80 years ago and carried the same name. Snow White is also inspired by the 1812 German fairy tale the Brothers Grimm wrote.

The synopsis reads:

“Snow White follows the titular princess as she gets exiled into the dangerous forest by her evil stepmother. Fortunately, she is rescued by seven dwarf miners who make her part of their household. However, due to the evil stepmother’s desire to be the fairest of them all, she tricks Snow White into eating a poison apple that would curse the princess into an endless sleep. In order for the curse to be broken, she must receive a true love’s kiss.”
