Ozark star, Jason Bateman will direct Netflix’s thriller movie, Dark Wire. The upcoming film draws admiration from Joseph Cox’s upcoming novel, which carries the same name. Shawn Levy is set to produce the forthcoming movie.
As per the synopsis,
“Dark Wire uncovers the true story of how the FBI launched a fake telecom company and became a phone service provider to some of the world’s most notorious gangs, culminating in the arrest of more than a thousand international criminals.”
Not much else is known about the film. Levy will produce Dark Wire with Dan Cohen and Dan Levine for 21 Laps. Bateman and Michael Costigan will also play a role in directing under the Aggregate Films banner. Meanwhile, Tracey Nyberg will executive produce Dark Wire.
