Sony Pictures has dropped another trailer for the newest Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. This time, the short snippet shines light on a new character named Pavitr Prabhakar, primarily known as Spider-Man India. After joking around with Miles, Prabhakar gives viewers a feel of who he is and where he comes from. The character is played by Deadpool star Karan Soni.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is also led by Shameik Moore (Miles Morales), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker), Issa Rae (Spider-Woman), Daniel Kaluuya (Spider-Punk), Oscar Isaac (Spider-Man 2099), Jason Schwartzman (The Spot), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Luna Lauren Velez (Rio Morales), Greta Lee (Lyla), and more.
As per the synopsis
“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”
The movie premieres on June 2nd, 2023.
