Kaliii has not only caused an uproar on TikTok but in the hip-hop industry as well. On Sept. 12, the Atlanta femcee wowed the crowd at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. During Kaliii’s time on stage, she performed her hit singles, “K Toven” and “Area Codes.” MTV also handed Kalii her first VMA nomination for Best New Artist.
Kaliii is highly lauded via TikTok Elevate, a program that celebrates emerging artists. She’s built a loyal fanbase of over 1.3M followers, and 30.2M likes on TikTok by giving fans a personal look at her artistic vision, her fashion style, day-to-day routines, and the music that inspires her.
Earlier this year, Kaliii dropped her RIAA-certified gold single “Area Codes.” Following its release, “Area Code” became an immediate viral hit on TikTok, with nearly 400K creator videos to date.
