Netflix recently revealed that the seventh season of Black Mirror is debuting sometime next year. The streaming platform announced the news through a YouTube video, which can be seen below. According to the short, Black Mirror‘s seventh season will have 6 episodes and contain some returning cast members.
The new season’s first episode will be a follow-up to the series’ “USS Callister” episode, which appeared in the fourth season. In the episode, a programmer named Robert Daly used his co-workers’ DNA to create physical digital clones of them. The episode’s cast list included Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milloti, Jimmi Simpson, Michaela Coel, Billy Magnussen, Milanka Brooks, Osy Ikhile, and a brief cameo from Aaron Paul.
No other details about the new season have been revealed at this time.
