Deadline reported that, in its third week, the Osgood Perkins film has become the highest-grossing R-rated horror film of 2024 and the top indie horror film of the last decade, surpassing A24’s Talk To Me, Universal’s Focus’ Insidious Chapter 3, and A24’s Hereditary.
The film has proven successful with a production budget of approximately $10 million, resulting in significant profits for distributor NEON. Domestically, it has become their highest-grossing movie of all time.
