South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have a new trailer for their documentary ¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor! For those who are unfamiliar, Casa Bonita is a restaurant in Denver and was featured in South Park’s seventh season. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Boston, and other select cities on September 13. It’ll also premiere in Denver on September 6. If others can’t catch it on the big screen, they’ll have the chance to view the documentary on Paramount+ this fall.
¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor! will highlight Stone and Parker’s obsession with the landmark eatery and how they rebuilt it after purchasing it. The movie comes from the producers of another movie featuring Stone and Parker, 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park, which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind episodes of South Park.
Stone and Parker are also working alongside Kendrick Lamar and his long-time business partner, Dave Free, on a new live-action comedy that will be released in theaters on July 4, 2025.
South Park made its debut on television on August 13, 1997. The series has 26 seasons to date. The adult animated show follows four grade-schoolers named Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman as they navigate through several chaotic misadventures in the quiet, dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado.
