Scoop of the Day
Beyoncé launched her eagerly awaited Cowboy Carter Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday night, delighting fans with a spectacular performance.
This event also gave attendees their first glimpse of the exclusive merchandise that will be offered throughout the tour. Fans across social media have pointed out that one particular shirt might suggest the release of a new album. The shirt features the phrase “2/3” beneath the Cowboy Carter logo, a detail highlighted by Uproxx. Beyoncé had previously revealed that her 2022 album, Renaissance, along with her latest project, are part of a planned trilogy.
In a message posted on her official website in 2024, as highlighted by Billboard, she described her three-act project, which was crafted over the course of three years amid the pandemic. She noted:
“It was a period of stillness, yet also a time that sparked my creativity like never before. Working on Renaissance provided me with an opportunity to dream and escape during a frightening time for the world. It offered me a sense of freedom and adventure when so much around us felt stagnant.”

The future direction of Act III remains a mystery. In her album Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé ventured into various genres, exploring country, western, Americana, blues, folk, and R&B. For this project, she collaborated solely with country artists, bringing in talents like Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Willie Jones to contribute featured performances.
