An exclusive teaser trailer has dropped for Netflix’s new crime thriller, The Rip. Starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who also worked together on films like Good Will Hunting, The Last Duel, and Air, the movie centers on two Miami police officers who discover millions of dollars during a raid. As they plot on how to use the money, their trust becomes severed over time.
“Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question, including who they can rely on.”

In the trailer, Sasha Calle sends out a warning. “You should just take whatever money you want and walk away before this gets worse,” she states. Later in the clip, Damon wonders if everyone thinks he’s trying to steal the money. Affleck replies “I don’t trust you right now, and that’s a big problem.”
The Rip also stars Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, and Kyle Chandler. The movie is written and directed by Joe Carnahan, with story help from Michael McGrale. It’s produced by Affleck, Damon, Dani Bernfeld, and Luciana Damon.
