Marlon Wayans recently revealed during an interview that Scary Movie 6 will include a spoof of Get Out, as well as five other horror favorites that caused a frenzy in the movie scene. While speaking to ComicBook.com, the legendary comedian listed a few films that might be included in the next Scary Movie series.
He said, “I’m just a fan of the whole genre, man. I Know What You Did Last Summer may have something in there. I think the Scream franchise is always a great one. I think Heretic was a wonderful film. Longlegs. Get Out. Nope. There are just so many great horror films to pull from that we plan on having a field day. Sinners.”

Wayans emphasized during the interview that Sinners might get some shine on it due to its success at the box office this year. Although he didn’t list movies like Weapons directly, it might be incorporated in Scary Movie 6 somehow. Weapons comes to mind due to its standout scenes like the running kids and Aunt Gladys. The Conjuring will potentially find a spot in the next Scary Movie film, especially because The Conjuring: Last Rites just hit theaters on Sept 5.
The iconic Scary Movie series was originally created by Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans, with Marlon and Shawn writing and starring in the first two films while Keenen directed. Known for its hilarious parodies of classic horror films like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the franchise became a cultural phenomenon.
This upcoming film will be the sixth installment in the series, which debuted in 2000 and whose latest release was in 2013.
Paramount Pictures and Miramax are producing the new movie.
