Marvel Studios has dropped a new poster and TV spot for Marvel Zombies. The poster features zombie versions of iconic superheroes, including Captain America and Spider-Man, with glowing red eyes and decayed appearances. In the background, a fiery orange cityscape with the Marvel Animation and Disney+ logos at the bottom.
The series will feature the voices of Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Tessa Thompson, Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Hailee Steinfeld, Wyatt Russell, Randall Park, Iman Vellani, Dominique Thorne, and more.
Marvel Studios posted the image on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption,
“Long live the dead. Stream #MarvelZombies, a Marvel Animation four-part event coming September 24, only on @DisneyPlus.”

A second post from Marvel Studios showed a teaser clip from the series and was captioned, “Who will make it out alive? Stream Marvel Animation’s #MarvelZombies, a four-part event coming September 24, only on @DisneyPlus.”
Marvel Zombies is a four-part TV-MA-rated animated event. Bryan Andrews serves as the showrunner and director. According to Marvel Television and Marvel Animation honcho Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Zombies is intertwined with the What If…? episode “What If… Zombies?!” (Season 1 Episode 5). In his words it’s “very much like the part 1 prologue for this giant, epic event that is coming out next year.”
“It ties right in. It is the same universe. If you’ve never seen that episode of ‘What If…?’, you do come at the universe from a different angle,” he explained.

Marvel Zombies premieres on Disney+ on September 24th, 2025.
