New artwork from Toy Story 5 reveals Woody and Buzz’s official looks. In the image, Woody and Buzz can be seen in their original animation, but it is presented in higher definition. The beloved cowboy toy can be seen smiling while the iconic astronaut toy shows his pearly whites. Toy Story 5 hits theaters on June 19, 2026.
“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time around, it’s Toy meets Tech,” the logline reads. “Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head to head with this all-new threat to playtime.”
Toy Story 5 was first announced in 2023. It’s set to be directed by Andrew Stanton, known for his work on Finding Nemo, Wall-E, and who also penned the screenplay for this highly anticipated sequel. Besides Hank and Allen, the movie will also star Joan Cusack as Jessie, Ernie Hudson as Combat Carl, Tony Hale as Forky, and Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants. The plot will apparently have some bits about technology as well. Bonnie will have a tablet named Lilypad, voiced by Anna Farris.
