Grand Theft Auto VI has gotten the best update possible. After fans have been waiting for (what seems to feel like forever) for the game to drop, it finally has a release date! According to Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to debut on November 19, 2026. The date was revealed in the company’s fiscal third-quarter 2026 earnings report, issued on February 3, 2026. The game was mentioned amid its goal-oriented view for 2027.
Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive, said:
“With ongoing momentum across many of our businesses, and the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19th, we continue to project record levels of Net Bookings in Fiscal 2027, which we believe will establish a new financial baseline for our business, set us on a path to enhanced profitability, and provide further balance sheet strength and flexibility.”

In the report, they also briefly mentioned the gaming platforms that Grand Theft Auto VI will be playable on: Rockstar Games – Grand Theft Auto VI – PS5, Xbox Series X|S – November 19, 2026. According to this same report, the video game was supposed to be released last year, but it was pushed to May 2026. However, the company pushed the date further for a reason that’s still unknown. No changes to the new date have been made so far.
