Well it seems that it may be returning back, this time not in repeated episodes, but within a reboot!
According to VIBE, Tommy Davidson (a.k.a Oscar Proud) announced that there is a Proud Family reboot in the works, but this time on Disney’s new streaming service Disney +.
“The Proud Family is coming back…on one of Disney’s streaming [services], They told me not to tell you about it.”
The Proud Family first aired in 2001 starring 14 year-old Penny Proud, played by Kyla Pratt. The show revolved around her life, dealing with her crazy family, her friends, and a few bullies.
As of right now details have remained limited about this disclosure. Disney has neither agreed or disagreed to Davidson’s statement, but the fans are truly excited to see what is in store.
