After announcing that season 6 will be the last and final season of Power, television studios are already demanding that Curtis “50 Cent” Jacksonjoin their production squad. The G-Unit rapper has already locked in quite a few deals including Black Mafia Family, Vanguardand Intercepted. Now he’s adding For Life to the list for its 2019-2020 season.
Deadline reports the series is produced by Jackson and Hank Steinberg. Based on the life of Isaac Wright, Jr., the legal drama will follow his journey from wrongly incarcerated prisoner to a lawyer as he litigates cases for other inmates while attempting to overturn his life sentence.
G-Unit Films and Television will be teaming up with Sony Pictures for the production of For Life. The show is highly favored by ABC and contracts were negotiated for three extra days as to give better resources for their independent studio.
The show will also be starring Nicholas Pinnock (Captain America), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Joy Bryant (Parenthood), Glenn Fleshler (Billions), Tyla Harris (Claws) and more.
