Because of Coronavirus’ pesky ways, Sony had no choice but to reschedule the debut of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’s sequel. Instead of premiering in theaters on April 8, 2022, the movie will now hit big screens on October 7, 2022. Sony made the official announcement on its Spider-Verse Twitter account.
Legendary Defenders’ Joaquim Dos Santos will direct the upcoming film. He will also be joined by screenwriter David Callaham, whose penned movies like Wonder Woman 1984 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The stars from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse will return for the latter. The voice actors are Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Nicolas Cage, Brian Tyree Henry, and Luna Lauren Velez.
