Shameless star Jeremy Allen White will play a lead role in A24’s The Iron Claw. White will reportedly play Kerry Von Erich, who famously wrestled in the WWF as The Texas Tornado.
Other actors that’ll be in the film are Zac Efron (Kevin Von Erich) and Harris Dickinson (David Von Erich). White is also known for his exceptional acting skills in FX’s The Bear.
According to the synopsis, “The Iron Claw is based on a true story and follows the famed Von Erich family through their ups and downs in the wrestling world. No release window has been set as of writing.”
The Von Erich family is essentially crucial in the wrestling industry. Kerry Von Erich and his sons are known for constantly breaking records in wrestling. Although Kerry is deceased, his sons Marshall and Ross Von Erich still participate in the sport.
