Adele made a third appearance on Saturday Night Live two days ago, but this time she decided to show off her humorous side. In the past, the “Hello” singer went on SNL as a musical guest. To announce this great news, she posted a heartfelt post.
“My first-ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!” she penned as the picture’s caption. “I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand-alone moment so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump headfirst into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best, it’s 2020, right?”
Fast forward, and Adele premiered on SNL as a host. During her time in this recent episode, she unveiled that her forthcoming album is in the works. “My album is not yet finished,” she said. “I’d rather put on some wigs, have a glass of wine or six, and just see what happens!”
Adele first appeared on the show in 2008 and then reappeared seven years later.
