Contrary to belief, Bennie Bates is forever humbled, grateful, and just reigns in confidence. But if we’re being honest, why should Bates be humble? Like he said in his ‘Who Is Bennie Bates?‘ video snippet on YouTube, “Is the sun humble when it shines?”
On a scale of polished to bucket emojis, the New Jersey-based Fashion Nova men ambassador gives swag its true meaning. Besides the fly attire, Bates always comes camera-ready. From the very start, the “pretty, young, talented” rhymester knew that he was made for greatness.
When tuning in, one can hear that Bate’s passion for music is seriously valid. With every track, comes an oscillating flow that bounces along with a new soundscape and bellowing baseline. It’s safe to say that he really just has fun with it all the while proving to the world that he’s got hip-hop excellence down pat.
“Leverage” compliments Bate’s melodic, bouncy rhyme schemes. Granted that the upcoming artist has made it out the mud, he uses a clear-cut delivery against a safari-inspired beat. Ultimately, this song gives Bates leeway to flex at an all-time high. Since the “Top Dog” prayed and worked consistently, he’s garnered nothing but a massive fan base. All he really wants now is the check and nothing more. This very line even explains why. Here, Bates says “I get shit lit, that ain’t no question.”
At the 1:18, a fan even vouches for the F-Town native, “You so lit bro!” they commented, after leaving a trail of crying emojis. As the track moves forward, Bates goes to say that he still holds down the block and those who were there from the jump. Overall, “Leverage” makes listeners worldwide catch the vibe and allows them to floss with the Colgate smiling emcee.
Some would go so far as to say that “Bad” is the predecessor of “Leverage.” Like his latest track, “Bad” comes with a wilderness approach to futuristic synths, infectious wind percussion’s and a bellowing baseline. Next, Bates swipes right on the fortune and left on the shawties. After all, he’s come way too far and will be damned if it goes to waste! “Bad” is apart of his weekly segment, #HEADTOPTUESDAYS.
These two single releases follow after his event, Meet The Models Brunch Affair.
