STARZ has unveiled the official trailer and ensemble artwork for its highly anticipated new crime drama Fightland, an explosive family saga that combines the intensity of professional boxing with the ruthless power struggles of London’s criminal underworld.
Premiering Friday, July 31st, with new episodes streaming weekly on Fridays exclusively through the STARZ app and STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, the series marks another major milestone for entertainment powerhouse Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who serves as executive producer through G-Unit Film & Television.
As Jackson’s first internationally produced series under G-Unit Film & Television, Fightland expands his growing television footprint with a story centered on loyalty, betrayal, revenge, and the brutal consequences of chasing power.

At the center of Fightland is Duke Kilroy (Howard Charles), a British-born boxer who reaches the highest level of his career on the night he becomes world heavyweight champion. But his greatest victory quickly becomes his greatest tragedy. Moments after achieving his lifelong dream, Duke’s world collapses when a violent attack leaves his brother, Calvin, dead. Consumed by grief and anger, Duke’s response to the tragedy leads to devastating consequences. Ultimately sending him to prison for eight years.
When Duke finally returns home, he carries more than the scars of his time behind bars. He also carries a dangerous discovery that changes everything he thought he knew about his brother’s death. Determined to uncover the truth, Duke sets his sights on the man he believes orchestrated the betrayal: criminal kingpin and former boxing promoter Kingsley Marshall played by Nicholas Pinnock. But when Duke returns, Kingsley has disappeared. Left behind are Kingsley’s family including his wife Joy, played by Deborah Ayorinde, the woman who was once the love of Duke’s life and a criminal empire fighting to survive without its leader.

Created by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith (Run, Save Me), Fightland features a creative team experienced in crafting emotionally complex dramas. The series is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film & Television alongside Francis Hopkinson and Kate Leadbetter of Expanded Media.
Fajemisin-Duncan and Smith also serve as executive producers and writers, while Damione Macedon (Power, BMF, Genius: MLK/X) and Raphael Jackson Jr. (Power, BMF, Genius: MLK/X) serve as showrunners, executive producers, and writers. Adding further cinematic style, Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders) directs and executive-produces the first two episodes, bringing his experience with gritty, atmospheric storytelling to the series.
